Team Lead - VAPT - Cyber Security
Summary
Lead end-to-end VAPT (vulnerability assessment and penetration testing) engagements across web, mobile, thick client, and network/infrastructure targets, while mentoring and upskilling a technical team. Requires 4-5+ years of hands-on offensive security experience and CERT-In process knowledge, based in Ahmedabad.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - VAPT to lead and deliver security assessment engagements across multiple domains. The role requires strong hands-on offensive security expertise, team leadership, and the ability to mentor and upskill technical team members.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing VAPT engagements, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring assessments align with applicable CERT-In processes and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end VAPT engagements across web applications, mobile applications, thick client applications, networks, and infrastructure.
- Manage, mentor, and upskill team members to improve technical proficiency.
- Drive team capability development and technical skill enhancement initiatives.
- Explore new security domains and proactively take on emerging technical challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within engagement timelines.
- Ensure security assessments align with applicable CERT-In processes and requirements.
- Support continuous improvement in assessment methodologies and team capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 4 - 5+ years of hands-on VAPT experience.
- Proven experience leading or managing a technical team.
- Prior experience working in a service-based company.
- Working knowledge of CERT-In requirements and processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage technical assessments and deliver results within defined timelines.
Preferred Certifications:
One or more of the following certifications is preferred:
- OSCP - Offensive Security Certified Professional
- CRTP - Certified Red Team Professional
- CRTO - Certified Red Team Operator
- CPTS - Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (HTB)
- OSEP - Offensive Security Experienced Penetration Tester
