We are seeking an experienced Team Leader / Contract Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary construction supervision team supporting major transportation infrastructure projects in Fiji.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact with the Client and oversee technical delivery, contract administration, construction supervision, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, and overall project management across multiple civil works contracts executed under FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary construction supervision teams.
- Administer FIDIC civil works contracts.
- Supervise construction progress, quality, schedule, cost and contract compliance.
- Review contractor submissions, claims, variations and payment certificates.
- Coordinate with contractors, government agencies and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, social, health and safety requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
- Experience leading large multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience with FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
- Experience preparing bidding documents for major civil works projects.
- Previous experience on internationally funded infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Previous work experience in the region is highly desired.
