Team Leader - Daily SCL
As a Team Leader for Easterseals Iowa Daily Supported Community Living, you will provide direct supervision to our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure the highest-quality care for clients in our Daily Supported Community Living program. You will lead by example, fostering an environment of independence and excellence while ensuring all operational and compliance standards are met.
Responsibilities Include:
- Team Leadership: Oversee the selection, onboarding, and continuous development of DSPs. Provide regular coaching, performance management, and monthly feedback sessions.
- Program Coordination: Manage the daily operations of assigned house(s), ensuring client needs are met, and care teams are fully informed.
- Client Advocacy: Develop and monitor client goals, facilitate annual staffing meetings, and maintain open, professional communication with guardians.
- Compliance & Administration: Ensure all client files meet agency and funder standards. Monitor team training compliance and maintain a working knowledge of all SCL regulations.
- Direct Support: Administer medications (per certification) and step into the "staffing ratio" as needed to ensure safe and effective client coverage.
- Operations: Collaborate with the Operations Team and House Managers to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
