Team Leader - Dairy Cattle Feeding Operations
Apt Resources is seeking a Team Leader – Dairy Cattle Feeding Operations to oversee daily feeding activities, ensure optimal herd nutrition, and lead a team in maintaining the highest standards of animal care and farm productivity of our VIP client in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily feeding operations for dairy cattle.
- Ensure feed is prepared, mixed, and distributed according to established feeding programs and nutritional requirements.
- Monitor feed quality, inventory, and storage to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Lead, train, and motivate the feeding team to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure feeding schedules are followed accurately and consistently.
- Monitor cattle health, feeding behavior, and body condition, reporting any concerns to farm management.
- Coordinate with veterinarians, nutritionists, and other farm departments to support herd performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of feeding equipment, feed storage areas, and workstations.
- Ensure compliance with farm biosecurity, animal welfare, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of feed usage, inventory, and daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dairy farming, with hands-on experience in dairy cattle feeding operations.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dairy cattle nutrition, feed management, and feeding equipment.
- Ability to lead and manage a multicultural workforce.
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a farm environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and operational efficiency.
Benefits
Salary: AED 3,500 plus accommodation, and other benefits as per UAE labor law.
