Team Leader - Environment

Basic Job Function\:

• Responsible for planning, operating, and maintaining all environmental protection systems of the resort, including waste management, wastewater treatment, and energy-saving programs
• Ensure all operations minimise environmental impact and align with local, national, and international sustainability standards
• Collaborate with departments to integrate eco-friendly practices into daily operations

Tasks/Responsibilities\:
• Develop and implement environmental monitoring and improvement programs in areas such as energy, water, and waste management
• Periodically inspect, evaluate and analyse environmental systems with authorities to ensure compliance with government regulations and Hyatt brand standards
• Support the maintenance team in identifying eco-friendly materials, technologies, and operational methods
• Report to work at the scheduled time, well groomed and in the correct uniform
• Recruit and train Engineers on environmental awareness and best practices in accordance with the resort's guidelines
• Take full responsibility for the performance of departmental activities within the shift, immediately bring to your manager's attention any problem arises
• Respond promptly to environmental incidents, investigate the root cause, and implement corrective measures
• Maintain accurate records of environmental performance, permits, and sustainability reports
• Assist in preparing documentation and data required for certifications such as ISO 14001, LEED, or Green Globe
• In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager
