Team Leader Trading

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our growing team as Team Leaders for our trading desk, specializing in mid-frequency trading strategies. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in designing and executing trading strategies with a focus on low risk and no delta positions, specifically in Conversion Reversal, Box, and Butterfly strategies.

• Design, develop, and optimize mid-frequency trading strategies using approved software platforms (Greek, Omneysys, Utrade, Multitrade, XTS) and potentially additional software as needed.
  
• Implement strategies that ensure no delta positions and adhere to low-risk trading principles
  
• Lead and manage a team of traders, analysts, and support staff to execute trading strategies effectively.
  
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their trading skills and performance.
  
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team
  
• Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate trading risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
• Monitor and analyse market trends, liquidity, and volatility to adjust trading strategies as needed.
  
• Utilize approved trading software (Greek, Omneysys, Utrade, Multitrade, XTS) effectively to execute trades, analyse market data, and manage risk.
  
• Evaluate and potentially integrate additional software tools or platforms to enhance trading capabilities and efficiency.
  
• Track and analyze trading performance metrics, including profitability, risk-adjusted returns, and trading costs.
  
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on trading activities, performance, and strategy updates.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Team Leader in a brokerage firm or financial institution, with a strong background in mid-frequency trading strategies.
  
• Proven experience managing substantial trading margins (more than 100 crores) and leading teams of 25 people or more.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing Conversion Reversal, Box, and Butterfly strategies with a focus on low risk and no delta positions.
  
• Strong understanding of options pricing, derivatives, and market dynamics.
  
• Familiarity with trading software such as Greek, Omneysys, Utrade, Multitrade, and XTS; ability to adapt and learn new software as required.
