Team Manager - Adults First Response Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Team Manager for its client's Adults First Response Team at Merton.
This is a key leadership role managing a frontline Adult Social Care team responsible for assessments, safeguarding, care management, and support planning. You will lead a multidisciplinary workforce, ensure statutory duties are met, and drive high-quality, person-centred practice across the service

What will your responsibilities be?

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and Care Managers.
• Oversee assessments, support planning, safeguarding enquiries, and care management activity.
• Ensure compliance with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, DoLS, and Adult Safeguarding procedures.
• Manage team performance, quality assurance, workload allocation, and service delivery.
• Chair complex case conferences, safeguarding meetings, and multi-agency discussions.
• Support staff with complex cases, court work, and safeguarding investigations.
• Monitor budgets, authorise care packages, and promote effective resource management.
• Work closely with health, housing, and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated services.
• Drive service improvement, workforce development, and best practice across the team.
