The Datacenter Operations department plays a crucial role in delivering reliable infrastructure services and ensuring that customers can depend on high-quality technical solutions. Within this environment, the Infrastructure Team is responsible for the deployment and management of rack infrastructure, network equipment and associated hardware.

About the role

Are you an experienced technical leader who enjoys developing people, improving operational processes and delivering excellent customer service?

As Team Manager, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for delivering and maintaining a wide range of data center infrastructure solutions. These include dedicated and colocation racks, shared racks for dedicated servers, and the configuration and deployment of customer network equipment.

You will oversee daily technical operations, ensure efficient service delivery and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. In addition, you will focus on developing your team, optimizing operational processes and preparing the infrastructure for changing customer requirements.

This role combines people management, technical operations and continuous improvement in a fast-paced data center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Team leadership and development: Coach, mentor and develop team members, encouraging professional growth, improving individual performance and helping employees reach their full potential.
• Daily operations: Oversee the team's daily technical activities and ensure that data center processes run smoothly, efficiently and reliably.
• Customer satisfaction: Promote effective communication, ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain high service standards.
• Infrastructure management: Ensure data center infrastructure meets current and future customer requirements through regular evaluation, maintenance and optimization.
• Operational efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes and resource utilization.
• Innovation and improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance departmental processes, introduce improvements and increase operational efficiency.
• Rack and hardware optimization: Support activities involving occupancy management, hardware migrations, testing new equipment and optimizing rack designs.
• Network deployment: Oversee the configuration and deployment of network equipment to support customer requirements and reliable service delivery.

What we are looking for

You are a hands-on and people-oriented leader who understands the demands of data center operations. You know how to motivate a team, set clear priorities and maintain high operational standards while creating an environment in which employees can develop and perform at their best.

In addition, you bring:

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within data center operations, technical operations management or a comparable technical environment, with a strong focus on team leadership.
• A solid understanding of data center infrastructure and associated operational processes.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing technical teams.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively.
• A structured and detail-oriented approach, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and operational reliability.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into practical operational solutions.
