Job Summary
This role is for a packing operations and safety lead responsible for ensuring adherence to GMP, SOPs, and safety norms while driving operational excellence. The position involves conducting toolbox talks, reporting near-misses, participating in safety Kaizen and ESG activities, and ensuring quality standards in packing operations. You will contribute to regulatory readiness by maintaining accurate documentation, supporting RCA and CAPA during breakdowns, and ensuring timely delivery against production plans. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, OEE monitoring, resource management, and coordination with planning and warehouse teams. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, and operational excellence initiatives, while supporting environmental sustainability and CSR activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for conducting toolbox talks (TBTs) with peers and contractual employees, ensuring adherence to safety norms (process, machine, LOTO).
• You will be responsible for reporting near-misses, unsafe conditions/acts, and participating in safety Kaizen and ESG activities.
• You will be responsible for following SOPs stringently, raising quality issues, supporting RCA during breakdowns, and implementing CAPA.
• You will be responsible for meeting plan vs actual deliveries, supporting preventive maintenance, and resolving issues hampering delivery schedules.
• You will be responsible for maintaining line-related resource management, coordinating with planning/warehouse, and ensuring batch completion time and yield above baseline.
• You will be responsible for reviewing OEE daily, analyzing loss buckets, and driving corrective action plans.
• You will be responsible for supporting operational excellence initiatives, mechanization, automation, and instrumentation projects aligned with manufacturing strategy.
• You will be responsible for driving environmental performance improvements through waste minimization, recycling, conservation, and building positive CSR relationships with communities.
Educational qualification: Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field is mandatory.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field is mandatory.

• Experience in operating packing equipment for sterile products in primary and secondary packing, including serialization and track-and-trace systems, is desired.
• Experience in performing routine troubleshooting, maintaining low rejection ratios, assisting in the qualification and calibration of sterile packing equipment, and ensuring material and drug safety is desired.
• Experience in supporting batch documentation, addressing minor deviations, and ensuring compliance with sterile manufacturing standards and serialization requirements is desired.
