Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate to manage weighbridge operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Operate the weighbridge for inward vehicles and outward vehicle movements as per operational requirements
  2. Ensure the weighbridge remains clean, functional, and calibrated in accordance calibration schedule.
  3. Accurately record and maintain gross weight, tare weight, and net weight details for all weighment activities.
  4. Coordinate with Warehouse, Security, SCM, and other concerned departments to facilitate smooth material movement and weighment operations.
  5. Monitor scrap loading activities to ensure loading is performed in accordance with approved procedures and only authorized quantities of scrap are loaded.
  6. Perform weighment of scrap vehicles after loading and accurately record the gross, tare, and net weights.
  7. Report any discrepancies, abnormal observations, unauthorized activities, or operational issues to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action.
  8. Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements during all weighment activities.
  9. Maintain complete traceability of weighment transactions and related documentation.

Educational qualification: A Bachelor's in any stream or Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum work experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, with a focus on material handling, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance

Skills & attributes:

Technical Skills

• Expertise in handling all aspects of material receipt, issuance, storage, and reconciliation.

Behavioural Skills
• Strong communication skills for coordinating and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
• Effective problem-solving skills for closure of non-compliance observations and addressing dispensing activities.
• Attention to detail for preparation of GRN, labeling, document issuance and retrieval, and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
• Proficiency in managing calibration schedules, time & date synchronization of equipment, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
