Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Perform routine inspections of components as planned
Interpret specifications and inspection requirements to ensure inspections are correctly performed
Perform data entry in appropriate system application (e.g, JDE) to record inspection
results and identify issues and raise concerns to Quality Representative
May collaborate with Engineers to support inspection activities for projects and
investigations
Collaborate with Quality Representative to document nonconformities when NCR is
Identified
Other incidental duties.
Education/Experience
High School diploma or equivalent technical degree in related field
2 Years of previous related inspection experience
2 Years of previous process or product experience preferred.
Required Skills
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite; JDE preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Able to read and comprehend English required; writing and speaking basic English preferred
• Moderate understanding of drawings and specifications in inspection
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and inspection software
• Knowledge of and adherence to Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a team environment under general supervision and with instructions for routine work
• Detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignment to ensure desired outcomes
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
