The Lab Technician will have an operation for a dedicated test lab. Conduct factory witness testing of production units, as well as design validation tests for new products. Work in a cross-functional team; manage a variety of tasks and activities as required in this dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists.
Responsibilities
- Conduct factory witness testing (FWT) by test script and with attendance of customers.
- Conduct R&D tests following Design Verification Test (DVT) plans for new liquid cooling products.
- Operate a dedicated test lab including installation & setting up test facility, instrumentation, calibration and maintenance in response to general instructions.
- Follow all processes, quality, improvement and safety requirements. Help to develop and advance these standards.
- Work with lab teams, as well as other production and offering teams. Work with these teams for design reviews, DVT’s, technology R&D, and customer witness tests.
- Document test procedures, results, and technical observations in detailed reports.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics or equivalent.
- General mechanical skills, ability to read electrical schematic and piping drawings (P&ID).
- Brazing, piping, wiring, and/or welding skills.
- Must have AO certification for 3-Phase power wiring skills (up to 400Volt).
- Instrumentation and low voltage wiring.
- Measurement of temperature, pressure, and electrical properties.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and as a member of a dynamic team; offer and receive constructive criticism
- Experience for a mechanical / electrical facility / HVAC System.
- Basic knowledge of CFD and/or FEA software.
