Tech Lead (AI/ Python/ Node/ React)

Summary

Lead a full-stack team building an AI-powered tool that generates interactive educational content, integrating LLMs with Node.js/Python backends and React frontends for LMS delivery.

We're building an internal AI tool that generates interactive content.

You'll lead a full-stack team working on a tool that sits between upstream curriculum input and a downstream LMS. The platform processes prompts, calls LLMs, applies content guardrails, and returns Canvas-compatible lessons. The UI must feel seamless within the broader workflow while letting users edit, add, or swap content.

What you'll do

  • Own the architecture end to end, from LLM integration and content generation through to the React front end and LMS delivery

  • Lead technical direction across Node.js and Python backend services and React components

  • Design and maintain guardrails that enforce child-safe, curriculum-aligned content

  • Collaborate with curriculum and product teams to translate educational requirements into technical specs

  • Mentor engineers and set standards for code quality, testing, and deployment

  • Balance speed and quality on a short runway with a dedicated, focused team

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years building production web applications, with strong full-stack experience

  • Deep expertise in Python and Node.js for backend services

  • Solid React experience and comfort owning front-end architecture

  • Hands-on experience with generative AI and LLM integration in production systems

  • Understanding of integration patterns and data flow between multiple systems

  • Track record leading technical decisions and growing engineering teams

  • Advanced English

What we offer

  • Fully remote role

  • Modern tech stack with Python, Node.js, React, and cutting-edge generative AI

  • Direct impact on product
