Description
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with at least 2+ years in payments systems.
- Strong expertise in payment gateways, transaction flows, settlements, reconciliation, and payout systems.
- Solid programming skills in any backend language.
- Hands-on experience with: Microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs, Message queues/streams (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, and Celery), and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of: Idempotency, retries, ordering, distributed locks, High-performance transactional systems, Event-driven architectures.
- Basic Knowledge of services in the cloud, such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3 CloudWatch.
- Deep knowledge of the payments lifecycle: auth, capture, refund, settlement, chargeback.
