About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead (.NET) to join a team delivering modern solutions for a client in the banking sector. You'll play a key role in designing and leading the development of scalable, event-driven systems in a highly regulated environment, while supporting the technical growth of the team and driving architectural decisions.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the technical direction of the development team

  • Design and develop modern event-driven microservices

  • Drive architecture and technology decisions

  • Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders

  • Ensure high code quality and engineering best practices

  • Support the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with modern .NET

  • 3+ years of experience as a Tech Lead or Senior .NET Developer with technical leadership responsibilities

  • Experience delivering solutions within banking, fintech, or other regulated industries

  • Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and Kafka

  • Hands-on experience with Azure, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Application Insights

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments

  • Knowledge of Redis and NoSQL databases

  • Strong communication skills and fluent English

Nice to have

  • Experience designing distributed systems at scale

  • Knowledge of cloud-native development patterns

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
