Tech Lead/Senior Developer

A technical leader and senior hands-on developer who guides application and architecture and delivery, mentors engineers, and provides advanced operational leadership for production systems. This is a nonsupervisory position. Remote work eligibility is subject to position requirements, and management approval. Must meet applicable Court information security requirements. May be required to support planned releases, incident response, etc. when needed.

Design, deliver, operate and continuously improve secure, reliable Court applications and cloud-based services using modern software engineering and DevOps practices.

Must possess the following Core Competencies: TypeScript software development for modern web and service-based applications Infrastructure as Code using Terraform CI/CD automation and workflow engineering using GitHub Actions AWS cloud services, architectures, security, and operations Git-based source control, pull requests, code review, and branching strategies Automated testing, secure coding, observability, and application troubleshooting Agile software delivery, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration Professional judgment, accountability, and continuous improvement Technical leadership, architecture, design reviews, and engineering standards Production operations, incident response, root-cause analysis, and complex troubleshooting System reliability, performance engineering, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness Technical mentoring, work coordination, risk identification, and decision support
