About the Role
We're looking for a .NET Software Engineering Tech Lead to own both the tech and the team. You'll set architecture direction, lead our front-end rewrite to Angular, and build a team where AI-assisted development is just how things get done — not a bolt-on experiment.
You'll work hands-on in .NET 10, C# 14, Angular, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, and share ownership of outcomes with your Product Manager and Product Designer as equal partners.
What You'll Do
Lead the team
Run day-to-day engineering, remove blockers, mentor engineers, and raise the bar through code reviews. Partner with the Engineering Manager on hiring and development plans.
Own the architecture
Make and document technology decisions. Drive the Angular front-end rewrite. Keep technical debt visible and under control, not swept aside.
Set the AI standard
Define how the team uses Cursor, Claude Code, or similar — across requirements, coding, testing, and review. Make sure everything AI touches is verified for correctness and security before it ships.
Deliver, hands-on
Contribute directly to the codebase. Keep CI/CD (GitHub Actions) running smoothly and delivery predictable.
Bridge product and engineering
Work as an equal partner with Product Manager and Product Designer. Own feasibility calls — what can be built, at what cost, with what trade-offs. Talk directly with clients' IT teams when needed.
What We're Looking For
Experience leading a software engineering team — not just writing code, but growing people
Strong hands-on background in .NET, C#, and Angular/TypeScript
Comfort making and defending architecture decisions
Real, practical experience embedding AI tools into a team's workflow — not just using them yourself
A sharp eye for verifying AI-generated code before it ships
Very good English — you'll talk directly with clients' IT departments
