About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead / Sr. FullStack Developer to join our Report and Data team. This is a replacement position due to the resignation of an existing team member. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the backend of applications, managing databases, and ensuring the responsiveness and security of applications. You will work alongside other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain server-side application logic using Oracle/PLSQL, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Database Management: Manage database interactions, design schemas, perform performance tuning, and ensure data integrity and security.
- API Development: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure smooth data flow between frontend and backend components.
- SDLC & DBMS: Handle the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Database Management Systems.
- DevOps & Deployment: Automate deployment processes and manage cloud infrastructure via CI/CD pipelines.
- Security: Implement security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities (authentication, authorization, data encryption).
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance issues.
Key Skills & Technical Requirements
- Mandatory: Excellent knowledge in Backend/Database/SQL-PLSQL development.
- Databases: Proficiency in MSSQL, Oracle, DB2, Mongo DB, etc.
- Scripting/Languages: Knowledge of Dotnet, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP will be an advantage.
- ETL: Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data migration processes.
- Tools: Experience with Git, Visual Studio 2017, SQL Developer, SSMS, and Oracle Client.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), project management/coordination, team building, and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in Database troubleshooting, data modelling, and stored procedure development.
- Familiarity with audit processes, project management, and secure coding practices.
- Capability for client interaction.

- Education: Engineering Graduate or Equivalent Qualification.
