Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Writer with strong expertise in the IT domain to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for enterprise systems. This role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts into content tailored for diverse audiences, including engineers and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical documentation for enterprise IT systems, ensuring clarity and completeness.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to gather information and validate content.

• Identify gaps in documentation and proactively address them.

• Tailor content for different audiences, from technical engineers to business stakeholders.

• Create process maps and workflow visualizations to support understanding of complex systems.

• Implement version control across all documentation deliverables.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining consistent follow-up with stakeholders.

• Ensure documentation aligns with organizational standards and supports knowledge transfer and retention.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical writing within the IT domain, with the ability to understand enterprise systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication skills:

o Ability to ask probing questions professionally.

o Clear written and verbal communication.

o Confident yet diplomatic when pressing for information.

• Ability to set and maintain priorities, adapt to changing needs, and work independently.

• Strong multitasking skills and flexibility to meet project demands.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Copilot (or equivalent tools).

• Knowledge of process mapping and workflow visualization.

• Experience with version control practices.

• Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and change.

• Familiarity with documentation’s role in upskilling and reskilling.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements in IT environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $53.00/hr.
