Techical Liaison - Quality Assurance
Summary
Quality Assurance liaison in Guadalajara ensures accurate QC reporting and seamless communication between growers, customers, and teams using NetSuite ERP and Excel.
- Ensure all quality control (QC) reports are accurately completed, reviewed, and finalized.
- Maintain and update the Master File with all origin and destination inspection data.
- Upload and manage QC documentation within the NetSuite ERP system.
- Distribute quality reports and feedback to growers on time.
- Build strong relationships with growers and stakeholders through clear, professional communication.
- Monitor product quality trends and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Follow up on all outstanding QC inspections within 24 hours of packing (origin) or arrival (destination).
- Review and validate QC reports to ensure all information is accurate and aligned with company standards and systems.
- Liaise closely with Supervisors regarding inspections, quality concerns, and report completion.
- Identify, analyse, and report quality alerts, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to growers within 24 hours of receiving inspection results.
- Ensure all QC feedback and actions are accurately captured within the ERP system.
- Manage follow-up actions relating to downgraded, rejected, or reallocated stock, ensuring all updates are communicated and recorded.
- Maintain complete and organised electronic records of QC reports and supporting documentation at case level.
- Collaborate proactively with internal departments to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Support the delivery of high-quality products by promoting effective communication between growers, customers, and operational teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–2 years' experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, Customer Service, or a similar operational role.
- Experience within the fresh produce, agriculture, or berry industry would be highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to interpret quality data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with growers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
