Technical Accounting Officer
Description
Purpose of the Role
Provides support on routine accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, financial data processing. Assists in the preparation of financial reports and ensures compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls. Coordinates routine accounting activities and ensures accurate processing of financial transactions. Provides basic assistance with reconciliations, data entry, and financial documentation, and escalates discrepancies or issues as needed.
Overview of Role Responsibilities (Level 1-13)
Financial Management and Control- Level 4 - Process Expert
Monitor and analyze data using established finance systems and protocols.
Data Collection and Analysis- Level 4 - Process Expert
Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
Data Management- Level 4 - Process Expert
Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
Insights and Reporting- Level 4 - Process Expert
Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
Financial Transactions Management- Level 4 - Process Expert
Execute routine tasks related to managing financial transactions, including processing payments and assisting in reconciling bank statements.

General Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience within a financial services or insurance enviroment in a similar role.
