Technical Analyst (Dyno) Global Grade 09
Summary
Tests earthmoving equipment engines on dyno, troubleshoots CAT machines, diagnoses components, and compiles technical reports. Core technologies: dyno, CAT machines, electronic engine systems.
Key Outputs
• Testing earthmoving equipment engines after assembly on dyno.
• Technical expert investigating and troubleshooting of CAT machines.
• Advanced electronic engine systems and engine operations.
• Knowledge on dyno operations will be an advantage.
• Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine components and identify product issues.
• Compile accurate machine analysis and report on all technical issues identified.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Compile informative technical report on all systems (TA report).
• Reports are given to Supervisor to action, normally discussed with CSR.
• To obtain incremental business.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Qualified Artisan.
• 3 years post apprentice/learnership.
• Sound interpersonal communication skills, machine specific technical knowledge and skills, basic finance and business understanding, problem solving and analysis, customer relationship.
