Technical Analyst for Business Applications

Division: Group Business Solutions (GBS)

We are looking for a Technical Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance roadmap team. We are also open to both junior and more senior profiles. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Computer Science or Engineering, or for candidates with a first job experience, to start their careers. You will receive on-the-job training and be mentored by experienced professionals to help you grow into the role.

Your Role

• Assist in developing design specifications for new or existing business applications in line with the required business and operational requirements
• Help coordinate any application changes (e.g., upgrades, migrations, SSO) or associated infrastructure changes
• Support IT operations for the applications and ensure the level of service remains within expectations
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans and forecasts, including resource requirements, costs, and risks
• Help define deliverables, assign their production to project team members, and supervise their progress and quality
• Participate in the risk, issue, and change control processes for assigned projects and track action items
• Ensure sufficient knowledge is shared within the team to maintain the applications and raise any issues when this is not the case
• Investigate software problems and coordinate problem resolution with software vendors and the infrastructure team

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar function is a plus
• Strong interest in the design/implementation of end-to-end technology solutions
• Willingness to learn about the installation and coordination of business applications in a corporate context
• Basic understanding of different infrastructure landscapes and a desire to work with infrastructure teams to fulfill application requirements
• Eagerness to collaborate with external vendors and internal teams

Soft & Technical Skills

• Basic technical skills: Familiarity with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux), SQL, SSIS, file transfers, and network basics
• Interest in data processes: Eagerness to learn about data extraction, data transformation, and data load processes (knowledge of SSIS packages is a plus)
• Willingness to work in an agile context
• Strong analytical skills: Effective and creative problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in English
