Technical Analyst – Integration

Our client is one of Australia's most recognised enterprises, with a large and complex technology environment. They have an immediate need for a Technical Analyst — Integration, based in Melbourne's north-west, on a hybrid 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

A dedicated integration analysis role — not a build role, and not a one-off project. You will work across a continuous pipeline of integration work, leading requirements elicitation with business and technical stakeholders, defining end-to-end data flows, producing source-to-target mappings, validating API specifications, and supporting SIT/UAT through to defect resolution. The artefacts you produce go directly to the developer; you define what gets built.

What you'll need to succeed;

  • 5–6 years hands-on experience in integration technologies specifically — depth in this stack, not a broad or mixed IT background

  • Postman — personally used to test and validate APIs (not just observed)

  • JSON/XML schemas — validated and interpreted hands-on

  • REST/SOAP APIs — can explain methods including POST and describe specific usage

  • OpenAPI/Swagger — used to define or validate specifications

  • Source-to-target mapping and data transformation logic

  • SIT/UAT — defect logging, integration testing

  • Azure Logic Apps or MuleSoft (advantageous)

  • SQL or data querying capability (advantageous)

Suitably skilled candidates are encouraged to apply with an achievement-based CV.
