Technical Architect (Fresh Graduates)

Summary

Train fresh graduates to design and maintain enterprise containerized applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift, integrating systems like IBM MQ and AWS while ensuring security and operational best practices.

Our client is open to train Fresh Graduates to become an accomplished Technical Architest / Application Platform Engineer.

You will be trained and get to do hands on project on the skill sets needed for the job scope mentioned below :

Main Role and Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the application product and its operational aspects, including patching and application support.

• Familiar with handling and maintaining enterprise container architecture (3-tier architecture).

• Participate in application architecture sessions with build teams, providing input on integration points such as web services and government interfaces for MQ and SFTP.

• Familiar with designing, implementing, and administering enterprise-level Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift / Cloud Foundation.

• Familiar with container provisioning, images, repository lifecycle concepts, and deployment of container-centric services.

• Familiar with maintaining enterprise architectures including web applications and microservices.

• Familiar with DevSecOps tooling and automation concepts.

• Familiar with setting and defining operational processes:

o OS-level patching

o Application-level patching

o Operational housekeeping and archival

o Backup and recovery, etc.

• Familiar with government-level security concepts including hardening, scanning, security posture, and mindset.

• Familiar with AWS administration.

You will be proficient in the following skill sets (after training).

• Experienced with designing & implementing enterprise container applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift orchestration platforms supporting containerized capabilities.

• Hands-on experience with integration products such as IBM MQ messaging and API Gateway — administration and troubleshooting of queues, queue managers, and channels; able to set up and operate MQ.

• Familiar with maintaining at-scale enterprise online web architectures and microservices architectures.
