Technical Artist R&D
You will research next-generation graphics and image technologies, create and expand character and background concept variations using generative AI tools, and improve repetitive tasks within the art pipeline. You will review the technical suitability of graphic resources, share technology trends internally, and guide artists in using new tools.
Responsibilities
- Create and expand character and background concept drafts using Stable Diffusion and Midjourney
- Research new graphic image and texture technologies and art-production support workflows
- Improve repetitive tasks and production-support environments within the existing art pipeline
- Support technical suitability reviews for graphic resource management aligned with project direction
- Research and share the latest graphic technology trends internally
- Guide artists in using new tools and support collaboration
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong understanding of art production, including drawing, form, color, and composition
- Use a range of graphic tools, including automation technologies, appropriately for the purpose
- Demonstrate proficiency with Stable Diffusion, Automatic1111, ComfyUI, Midjourney, and Photoshop
- Proactively resolve technical issues when applying new technologies to existing pipelines
