Are you an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong SQL and AI use case background in banking?
emagine has an opportunity for you to drive an efficiency-focused transformation programme in a leading bank, with a global team. You will work in Paris (8th arrondissement) and help shape how AI and automation improve core banking processes.
Skills & Experience
8+ years as a Technical Business Analyst on large, complex banking technology programmes
Advanced SQL, with the ability to analyse, validate and test data on your own
Proven experience on AI or automation initiatives
A track record working with several engineering teams and senior stakeholders
Solid grounding in Agile delivery and technical SDLCs
Financial services or capital markets experience - essential
Desirable: Generative AI, machine learning or intelligent automation exposure, and familiarity with data governance and regulatory standards in banking
Tasks & Deliverables
Meet senior stakeholders to understand current processes and pain points
Work across technology teams to gather requirements and assess feasibility
Define, document and prioritise AI and automation use cases that fit existing platform capabilities
Build clear current-state and target-state process flows
Turn business needs into detailed technical requirements and user stories
Lead backlog creation, refinement and prioritisation with Product Owners and delivery teams
Test delivered solutions hands-on, including SQL-based data validation
Present recommendations, trade-offs and delivery options to senior stakeholders
Make sure delivery meets enterprise technology, data and risk standards
