The Technical Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Provider MMIS Team and Operations Team on various systems eligibility, enrollment and call center systems including the MS CWAS Provider system, the Mississippi MMIS, MS CMS and other systems as required.

To be successful, the Technical Business Systems analyst must be a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of systems analysis, quality assurance, report development, query development, requirements gathering and documentation creation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support reporting needs of internal and external business users.
• Analyzes business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align various information technology solutions with business initiatives.
• Interprets business needs and translates them into the different system requirements.
• Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for development of the various systems.
• Interprets different systems specifications to develop, maintain and support automated business processes where applicable.
• Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
• Configures system settings and options, plans and executes acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
• Able to operate with little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
• Possesses excellent communications and writing skills.
• Provides assistance to management as required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the following:
• Healthcare Eligibility and Enrollment
• Systems Analysis
• Quality Assurance
• Report Development
• Query Development
• Requirements Gathering
• Documentation Creation

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Microsoft Tools Suite
• Provider MMIS Systems
• MS SQL Server

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose the following information. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. For Colorado considerations only the estimated salary range is $50,050- $65,000.
