Technical Business Analyst - Data Warehouse - Hybrid environment - wfh & CBD office + Daily rate

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst – Data Warehouse to join a major data transformation program within a leading superannuation organisation.

Working within the PMO, you will play a key role in defining the upfront business and technical requirements for a new enterprise data warehouse. You will work closely with Data Engineers, business stakeholders and an external implementation vendor to ensure requirements are clearly defined and ready for delivery.

The Role:

• Gather, analyse and validate business and technical data requirements
• Define requirements for a new enterprise data warehouse
• Undertake source-to-target analysis and data mapping
• Work across Acurity and other enterprise/member platforms
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and business glossaries
• Define business rules, data definitions and transformation requirements
• Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Modellers
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
• Work with the implementation vendor to clarify and validate requirements throughout delivery

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst on data-focused programs
• Demonstrated data warehouse / data platform implementation experience
• Strong data mapping and source-to-target analysis capability
• Experience defining data dictionaries, business glossaries and data requirements
• Good understanding of SQL, databases and data structures
• Experience working closely with Data Engineering teams
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Highly Desirable:

• Microsoft Azure data platform experience
• Acurity experience
• Superannuation / financial services experience
• Experience with member administration platforms
• Exposure to enterprise data warehouse migrations or transformations
