Technical Business Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our delivery team and work at the intersection of business and technology. You will help clients understand what is possible, shape the solutions we design and build, and see them through the full delivery lifecycle — from discovery to go-live. This is an excellent opportunity to work with enterprise clients and grow into a trusted advisor role.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with clients to understand their business needs through discovery workshops, interviews, and requirement sessions.
Lead requirements through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) — from discovery and solution design through development, testing, and go-live support.
Translate business requirements into clear solution designs and functional specifications that development teams can execute.
Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POC) to prospective and existing clients.
Contribute to solution proposals, cost estimates, and technical responses to tenders and RFPs.
Act as the bridge between clients and our engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Document solutions — business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), user guides, and meeting minutes.
Work with project managers on implementation plans, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.
Collect client feedback and contribute insights to our product roadmap and service improvements.
What We Are Looking For
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Around 4–6 years of relevant experience in solution consulting, implementation, business analysis, or project delivery within the software / IT industry.
Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) — from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
Solid understanding of software development fundamentals — web, mobile, and backend architecture, REST APIs, databases, and cloud concepts.
Ability to read and interpret technical artifacts such as code, API documentation, and system diagrams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to complex or ambiguous requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills — comfortable speaking to both business and technical audiences.
Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
Client-focused mindset with good stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Experience working with enterprise clients on large-scale or complex delivery projects.
Hands-on exposure to programming languages or tools (e.g., Java, Python, SQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), or enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or Salesforce.
Familiarity with agile / scrum delivery, or an understanding of UX principles.
Knowledge of data, analytics, or integration platforms (e.g., ETL, iPaaS).
Capability and interest in using agentic AI tools to improve efficiency and quality in project delivery.
