Technical Business Analyst

The role:

• Gathering and translating business and technical requirements
• Analysing systems, data flows and dependencies
• Supporting API integrations and technical documentation
• Data analysis, including migration and system mapping
• Analysing legacy systems to support transformation and decommissioning
• Running workshops with business, engineering and architecture teams
• Taking ownership of technical analysis across multiple technology workstreams

Requirements:

• Relevant Background - Likely job titles include Technical Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Integration Analyst, Software Analyst, Data BA
• Technical Analysis - Experience working across both business and technical requirements, translating these into clear documentation for delivery teams.
• APIs & Integrations - Good understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows and dependencies.
• Data Analysis - Experience analysing and mapping data, ideally using SQL and Excel (maybe Power BI).
• Stakeholder Management - Confident working independently with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
