About the role
You'll work within a major insurance environment, helping connect customer and user-facing digital platforms with core backend services and policy administration systems.
At the heart of the role is translation. You'll understand what the business and users need from the front end, then work with engineering teams to define what needs to happen across APIs, integrations, data and backend platforms to make it work.
You'll get into the detail of API contracts and system interactions, turning business requirements into clear technical requirements and user stories that developers and engineers can deliver against.
This isn't a developer role, but you'll need enough technical depth to confidently challenge, clarify and communicate within a modern API and microservices environment.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, systems integration and API contract design
