Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners is seeking a Technical Communicator to serve as a key resource for our Service, Parts, Sales, and Precision Ag teams. This position helps diagnose and resolve complex equipment and technology issues, communicates with manufacturer support teams, and develops technical resources that improve dealership efficiency and customer uptime.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and enjoys helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
• Provide technical assistance to technicians, service managers, and dealership personnel.
• Research and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and precision agriculture systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, service publications, schematics, and diagnostic information.
• Support dealership teams in resolving complex equipment and technology concerns.
Manufacturer Communication
• Act as a liaison between dealership personnel and manufacturer technical support teams.
• Open, manage, and document technical support cases through resolution.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical updates to dealership teams.
Knowledge & Resource Development
• Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, technical procedures, and reference materials.
• Document recurring issues and successful resolutions to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Share technical bulletins and product updates across the organization.
Training & Technology Support
• Assist with employee technical training and knowledge development.
• Support precision agriculture, telematics, software, and emerging technology initiatives.
• Stay current on equipment systems, diagnostic tools, and manufacturer updates.
