Technical Consultant (Oracle)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Consultant (Oracle) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle-based applications and systems to meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain applications using Oracle technologies.

• Design, write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex PL/SQL programs, procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and related technologies.

• Perform database analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting in Oracle Database environments.

• Support implementation, enhancement, and integration of business applications.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, users, and project teams to gather and analyze requirements.

• Conduct system testing, debugging, and issue resolution.

• Prepare technical documentation and provide post-implementation support.

• Ensure application performance, reliability, and compliance with development standards.

• Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an IT environment.

• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL is a must.

• Strong proficiency in Java programming is a must.

• Experience working with Oracle Database is an advantage.

• Experience with Oracle Development Tools such as Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports is an advantage.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
