Technical Delivery Coordinator
About the Project:
The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2 kilometers farther west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.
Position Overview:
The Technical Delivery Coordinator supports the overall project wide technical and design coordination and delivery across a major rail transit infrastructure project delivered by Trillium Rail Partners (TRP).
This role plays a key part in coordinating between technical//design team and other TRP departments, multiple workstreams and other support functions. Working within a complex design-build / P3 environment, the role supports efficient design delivery through strong administrative and coordination practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the overall project wide technical/design coordination and technical coordination support with other TRP department such as PLAA, Construction, Procurement, Estimating, Scheduling, Risk, Cost and technical coordination support for quantity management.
- Support with design submittal delivery including project wide submittals coordination
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc design status and progress reports for internal and external purposes
- Track design progress against baseline and updated schedules, highlighting variances and potential impacts.
- Support development of design and delivery related processes.
- Support and track design documents required for permitting and procurement needs.
- Assist in analyzing impacts of design changes, delays, and variations on schedule performance.
- Participate in schedule review meetings, reporting sessions, and coordination workshops.
- Organize and facilitate technical coordination meetings, workshops, and reviews.
- Assist in resolving interface conflicts and escalating program level risks to the Station Construction Manager.
- Support stakeholder communication related to construction impacts, access, and phasing.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience with transit, underground structures, bridges, or large civil works is preferred.
- Experience in design-build or P3 project environments is an asset.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Experience supporting design scheduling, reporting, and tracking
- Experience working in large, multidisciplinary project environments is an asset.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools is an asset.
- Organized, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
