About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with a strong background in Mobile Application Delivery and Banking/Financial Services to lead end-to-end delivery of digital banking initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, driving successful project execution, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality mobile banking solutions that enhance customer experience and business value.
Key responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of mobile application projects within the banking and financial services domain.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to define project objectives and delivery roadmaps.
Drive Agile delivery practices across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer expectations.
Oversee the development, testing, deployment, and post-production support of mobile banking applications.
Ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile solutions for iOS and Android platforms.
Coordinate with technology, operations, compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management teams to ensure adherence to banking regulations and security standards.
Manage stakeholder communications, executive reporting, project governance, and steering committee updates.
Monitor project performance using delivery metrics, KPIs, and SLAs, implementing corrective actions when required.
Lead issue resolution, risk mitigation, and escalation management throughout the project lifecycle.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of IT experience with at least 3-5 years in a Technical Delivery Manager or Program Manager role.
Proven experience delivering mobile applications within the banking, financial services, or fintech industry.
Strong understanding of mobile platforms, including iOS and Android application ecosystems.
Experience managing large-scale digital transformation and mobile banking initiatives.
Solid knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Experience managing cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, business analysts, and product owners.
Strong understanding of banking systems, digital channels, payments, lending, customer onboarding, and financial products.
Experience with release management, application lifecycle management, and production support.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
