About the role
The Delivery Manager acts as the project manager for project activities within the IT Department, using Agile or waterfall methodologies to manage projects and ensure timely, end-to-end delivery. The role also directs development of the continuous delivery pipeline to improve delivery speed, quality and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform project management responsibilities using Agile and waterfall methodologies.
Prepare, create and maintain project plans and work plans, securing the necessary approvals as applicable.
Prepare, create and maintain project status reports covering delivery schedule, quality and scope.
Track project budgets and costs as applicable.
Ensure all project risks and issues are documented.
Work with the project team to facilitate resolution of risks and issues and ensure timely escalation where necessary.
Manage resources assigned to projects.
Direct the development of continuous delivery pipelines to improve delivery speed, quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant experience as Delivery Manager.
Infrastructure delivery or infrastructure-related project management experience.
Experience managing projects using Agile or waterfall methodologies.
Strong project planning, reporting, budgeting, risk management and resource coordination skills.
Ability to manage end-to-end project delivery while coordinating effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
