Summary
A Technical Delivery Manager leading ICT project delivery for a Federal Government agency, managing technical teams, project scope, budgets and risks using OpenShift and Microsoft technologies.
Salary: $135 - $155 per hour including super
- 12-month contract - EL2 equivalent

Our client, a Federal Government agency responsible for delivering advice and high-quality, accessible social, health and child support services and payments, is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager.
Duties of the Technical Delivery Manager
- Manage scope of projects from inception to closure;
- Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets;
- Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick‑off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks;
- Provide technical direction and leadership;
- Ensure technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards and methodologies;
- Lead and manage technical teams including developers, engineers and other technical professionals;
- Identify and manage risks related to the technical delivery;
- Provide technical expertise and support teams to solve complex technical challenges.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience managing financial records, project budgets and compliance requirements;
- Strong change management experience across large and complex organisational initiatives;
- Proven ability to lead strategic change management programs and initiatives;
- Strong project governance experience, including monitoring, change control, risk and quality management;
- Experience defining, managing and prioritising requirements using appropriate methodologies, tools and techniques.
Technical Skills
- Project Scheduling tools;
- Knowledge and understanding of OpenShift container platform infrastructure;
- Knowledge and understanding of a broad range of Microsoft technologies.
Knowledge / Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of Technical Delivery Management experience in a complex, high pressured ICT environment.
