At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an important company in the automation sector, specializing in the sale and installation of machine vision equipment (electronics), in the search for a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR for its center located in the Vallès Occidental area.

What you'll do

• Lead the development, programming, validation, and improvement of proprietary products.

• Define the requirements, technical architecture, and automation architecture of projects.

• Supervise projects, coordinate commissioning, documentation, technical validations, and provide support to Project Managers.

• Coordinate, train, and develop the technical team, defining priorities, distributing tasks, monitoring personnel, and coordinating new hires and training.

• Manage suppliers, technical purchasing, component approvals, and material availability.

• Coordinate R&D activities, certifications, and product improvements.

• Lead follow-up meetings with the team and be part of the company's Management Committee.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, and/or similar.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position as Technical Director, Project Manager, and/or similar in the industrial automation sector.

• You have a fluent level of English, both spoken and written.

• Experience managing technical teams in a similar sector.

• You are a proactive person, with initiative, methodical, organized, results-oriented and customer-oriented, resourceful, attentive to detail, with a global and transversal vision, the ability to lead and manage a team, dynamic, flexible and versatile, responsible and committed to the company's objectives.
