Technical Director

Salary: ฿100,000 – ฿130,000 per month

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing all technical operations of the company, covering Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Door Lock, and other systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS). The role involves providing in-depth technical consultation to customers and internal teams, supporting sales and after-sales services, and managing the technical team to ensure high-quality project delivery, compliance with relevant standards, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Management of Systems and Products
- Oversee all technical aspects of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Door Lock, and other systems, including BMS.
- Serve as a product specialist for the company's distributed products, providing in-depth technical consultation to customers, project consultants, and internal teams.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and relevant standards to recommend suitable products and solutions that meet market requirements.
2. Testing & Commissioning
- Establish guidelines, procedures, and standards for testing and commissioning of the products and systems distributed by the company.
- Review and approve testing results, handover documentation, and installation quality to ensure compliance with technical requirements before delivery to customers.
- Provide technical support and participate in troubleshooting activities for major or highly complex projects.
3. Sales and After-Sales Technical Support
- Provide technical support to the sales team, including product presentations, responses to technical inquiries, and participation in customer meetings.
- Support the after-sales service team in troubleshooting product-related issues and providing technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to review technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and project drawings to ensure proposals are technically accurate and comply with engineering requirements.
4. Technical Problem Analysis and Resolution
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of technical issues related to systems and products, and develop corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurring problems.
- Make technical decisions and provide expert recommendations for complex issues, including coordination with manufacturers when necessary.
- Collect and document frequently encountered technical issues to establish a Knowledge Base and continuously improve operational processes.
5. Technical Team Management and Development
- Supervise and manage technical teams, including Technicians, Pre-Sales Engineers, Technical Support Engineers, and Product Engineers.
- Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and evaluate team performance to ensure operational efficiency and quality.
- Continuously enhance the team's technical skills and knowledge through training programs, knowledge sharing, and manufacturer-provided training.
- Coordinate with other departments, including Sales, Purchasing, and After-Sales Service, to ensure effective collaboration and smooth operations.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8–10 years of experience in Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Door Lock, security systems, or smart building systems.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in managing or supervising technical teams.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Door Lock, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Testing & Commissioning.
- Good understanding of networking systems (Network/IP) related to security and building systems.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, such as EIT (Engineering Institute of Thailand), NFPA, and EN54, as applicable to the company's products and projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant technical software.
