Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality enterprise applications using Oracle Forms and Reports, along with Oracle PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into efficient, scalable database solutions, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, develop, customize, and maintain applications and user interface screens using Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
  • Database Programming: Write, analyze, and optimize complex PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
  • Query Optimization: Tune long-running SQL queries and PL/SQL code to enhance application performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, other developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Testing and Support: Conduct thorough unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of issues related to Oracle databases and applications.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, workflows, and system architecture.
  • Data Management: Implement database security measures, manage data integrity, and support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes where required
  • Additional knowledge: added advantage to have knowledge on React,Unix,Pro-c and Linuxs

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proven experience in Oracle application development, with expertise in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
    • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and advanced PL/SQL programming.
    • Strong understanding of relational database concepts, database design, and data modeling.
    • Experience with performance tuning techniques (e.g., using TKPROF, EXPLAIN PLAN).
    • Familiarity with database management tools like Toad or Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies
