Technical Engineer - Infrastucture

The Technical Engineer – Infrastructure plays a key role in supporting the engineering design, technical review, and coordination of infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, drainage, and site development works. The position requires technical expertise, coordination with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and authority requirements.

  • Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret infrastructure design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with consultants, designers, and contractors for technical submittals, RFIs, and design clarifications.
  • Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
  • Assist in value engineering and identifying technical risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure infrastructure works comply with project requirements, local authority regulations, and international standards.
  • Liaise with authorities (e.g., DM, RTA, ADM, DEWA) for approvals and compliance as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on the technical progress of works against approved plans and timelines.
  • Support the site team in resolving technical issues and conflicts during construction.
  • Participate in technical meetings, inspections, and coordination sessions.
