About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you lead the delivery of engineering activities on complex technical projects that combine hardware, software and systems. You organize the work, processes and deliverables within schedule, budget and contractual commitments, working closely with the engineering teams and the technical design authority.

You help build goal-driven teams, strengthen project management practices and improve delivery methods in a regulated, high-reliability environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of engineering projects combining hardware, software and system integration

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams covering systems, software development, test, quality and supply chain

• Define and track schedules, milestones, deliverables and engineering KPIs linked to project commitments

• Identify, assess and mitigate technical risks and blocking issues throughout the project lifecycle

• Improve delivery processes with suitable approaches such as Agile or the V-model, supporting quality and certification requirements

What we're looking for

You combine a solid engineering background with proven experience in managing complex technical projects. You enjoy demanding environments, know how to bring teams together and keep a clear overview of the solutions to be delivered.

• Master’s degree in engineering required

• At least 5 years of experience in project management or technical leadership at a high-tech engineering company, ideally in aerospace, space, defence, automotive, embedded systems or another high-reliability industry

• Good knowledge of systems engineering, product development lifecycles, integration and test processes

• Excellent project management skills, including scope, stakeholder, resource and risk management, with a good command of tools such as MS Project, Jira or Confluence; knowledge of ISO 9001, AQAP, DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO 26262 is an asset

• Fluent French and English required; knowledge of German or Dutch is an asset
