The Opportunity

Are you passionate about technology and enjoy working directly with customers? As a Technical Field Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering onsite support, installations, and maintenance for enterprise IT environments throughout the Hanover, Hamburg, and East Westphalia-Lippe region.

You will work with cutting-edge server, storage, and networking technologies while continuously expanding your technical expertise in complex customer environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the face of CDS and HPE at customer sites, delivering exceptional service experiences.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair enterprise IT hardware and infrastructure solutions.
• Support customers in business-critical and mission-critical environments.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery in accordance with defined processes and customer expectations.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical specialists and support teams.
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge and skills to support increasingly complex IT solutions.

What You Bring

• Initial hands-on experience in IT support, field services, or a technical engineering role.
• Basic knowledge of server, storage, networking, or data center technologies.
• A customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and confidently in onsite customer environments.
• Enjoyment of travel and working in different customer locations.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties and special assignments.
• Eligibility for a German Ü2 security clearance.
• Professional German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
