Summary

The Technical Infrastructure Project Manager will design and maintain data pipelines, automation tools, and reporting dashboards to support the hardware supply chain for AWS Compute and AI products. This role involves cross-functional project management to ensure visibility and efficiency in the procurement and planning of silicon and systems.

AWS Compute & AI products team powers the hardware backbone behind the world's most demanding cloud and AI workloads. We source, plan, and deliver the silicon and systems — CPUs, custom accelerators, ASICs — that fuel Amazon's compute fleet at unprecedented scale. Our mission: ensure every chip arrives where it's needed, when it's needed, with full visibility across the pipeline.

This role sits at the intersection of supply chain operations, data infrastructure, and project management — building the systems that make a multi-billion-dollar hardware supply chain observable, predictable, and fast.

We are looking for a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager who can own the design, build, and continuous improvement of infrastructure systems — including operations reporting, analytics dashboards, long term forecasts, automation tooling, and data pipelines — that serve multiple hardware commodity teams across compute and AI products.

Key job responsibilities
- **Infrastructure Systems** — Design and build scalable internal tools, automation workflows, and data pipelines that support supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and operational execution across hardware commodities (accelerators, GPUs, programmable logic, etc.).

- **Operations Reporting & Dashboards** — Own end-to-end reporting infrastructure: define KPIs, build self-service dashboards (QuickSight, Tableau, or custom), and ensure data freshness and accuracy for weekly business reviews and executive reporting.

- **Cross-Commodity Project Management** — Drive alignment across multiple commodity workstreams; track milestones, surface risks, and maintain a single source of truth for supply chain health.

- **Tooling & Automation** — Identify manual, repetitive processes and replace them with automated solutions (scripts, bots, integrations) that save hours of toil per week.

- **Long-Term Forecasting Infrastructure** — Build and maintain forecasting models and supporting data pipelines that enable multi-quarter and multi-year demand/supply planning across hardware commodities; partner with finance and planning teams to translate forecasts into actionable procurement signals.
