Assignment Description

Our client is looking for an experienced ISO Certification Consultant to support the certification of a specific technology product/service. This is not a company-wide ISO implementation project, but a focused initiative aimed at certifying a product developed by an engineering organization.

The consultant will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on contributor throughout the certification process. The assignment requires someone who has previously led or participated in ISO certification initiatives within software development or technology organizations and can guide the team through both technical and process-related requirements.

The consultant will work closely with the development team on-site in central Stockholm and help establish the necessary frameworks, processes, documentation, and controls required for a successful and efficient certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the ISO certification process for a specific technology product/service

• Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for engineering, product, and management teams

• Identify gaps and define required actions to achieve certification

• Drive implementation of relevant processes, controls, and documentation

• Support development teams in aligning development practices with ISO requirements

• Provide practical guidance around topics such as software development processes, bug handling, change management, quality assurance, documentation, risk management, and governance

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the technology organization

• Ensure readiness for external audits and certification reviews

Required Experience

• Proven experience leading or supporting ISO certification initiatives within software, SaaS, or technology organizations

• Experience certifying products, platforms, or services rather than only working with organization-wide ISO programs

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and engineering processes

• Ability to translate ISO requirements into practical ways of working for development teams

• Hands-on approach with the ability to execute as well as advise

• Experience working closely with engineering teams and technical stakeholders

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
