Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Software Engineering to lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in software development, cloud architecture across AWS and Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and IoT platforms. The role requires end-to-end technical ownership, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to guide engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to development, deployment, and production support.
• Design and develop scalable web applications, APIs, backend services, and cloud-based solutions.
• Architect, deploy, secure, and manage production workloads on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and integrate IoT applications involving device connectivity, telemetry ingestion, real-time monitoring, and third-party integrations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment processes.
• Design and optimize databases, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure application security, system reliability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot complex application, database, cloud infrastructure, networking, and production issues.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Cloud: Hands-on experience with both AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Programming: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, or equivalent relevant development technologies.
• Frameworks: Experience with React, Angular, Node.js, Django, FastAPI, or equivalent frameworks.
• IoT: Experience with IoT applications/platforms, device connectivity, telemetry processing, and IoT cloud services.
• Protocols: MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, UDP; exposure to LoRaWAN or NB-IoT is advantageous.
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or equivalent databases.
• Architecture: REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and third-party integrations.
• Monitoring: Experience with production monitoring, centralized logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Leadership: Technical ownership, solution architecture, team mentoring, and end-to-end project delivery.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following domains will be preferred:

• Internet of Things (IoT) and connected devices
• Smart metering and utility solutions
• Industrial IoT and automation
• Smart infrastructure and device management
• Cloud-based enterprise software and SaaS platforms

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E./B.Tech., MCA, M.Tech., or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on development and solution architecture experience.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing production applications on both AWS and Azure.
• Prior professional experience with IoT-based products, platforms, or enterprise IoT integrations is mandatory.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

6. Describe a challenging production issue involving cloud infrastructure, application performance, databases, or IoT connectivity that you resolved.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in IoT + AWS + Azure, along with software architecture and technical leadership capabilities, will be given priority.
