The role
- Own the enterprise cloud engineering roadmap across AWS, Azure, hybrid cloud and connectivity platforms
- Set technical direction and provide engineering authority across teams, ensuring consistency and production readiness
- Lead design and delivery of secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud and connectivity solutions
- Provide technical leadership for cloud networking and hybrid connectivity (e.g. Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)
- Embed reliability, security, observability and operational excellence into platform design
What you'll bring
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud and platform services across AWS, Azure and hybrid environments
- Experience operating at technical lead or principal level, setting direction across teams
- Advanced capability in Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, scripting)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise and cloud networking, including hybrid connectivity
- Solid grounding in cloud security, identity, governance and regulatory considerations
