Technical Lead – Enterprise AI Solutions

The Technical Lead provides technical leadership in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions for leading organisations across banking, healthcare, and other industries. Lead a team of software engineers and data scientists while remaining actively involved in software architecture, solution design, and hands‑on development. Working closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and customers, you will ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and delivered to the highest engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise AI solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers and data scientists.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans.
Review solution designs, architecture, and code to ensure quality, maintainability, and security.
Establish engineering standards, development best practices, and coding guidelines.
Drive technical decision‑making throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project delivery plans.
Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our products, platforms, and engineering practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
Minimum 2 years leading technical teams or serving as a technical lead on software projects.
Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
Experience designing and developing enterprise‑scale applications and distributed systems.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, system integration, and scalable application design.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Docker, containerisation, and modern development workflows.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud & Infrastructure experience (Azure or AWS, Kubernetes and container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, application monitoring and observability).
AI & Intelligent Applications experience (Large Language Models, Generative AI applications, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, AI agents, AI orchestration frameworks, enterprise AI platforms, model integration).
Vector databases and semantic search technologies.
