Technical Lead - Java Full Stack

About the company:

An India product development centre of a US group, building secure, highly available, cloud-based enterprise software used by large research facilities, university medical centres, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies in the US and worldwide.

About the role:

As a Technical Lead, you will lead a product engineering team, guide design and implementation of technical solutions, and stay hands-on with code. You will report to the R&D Manager and work closely with product teams and US stakeholders.

What you will do:

- Lead a team of engineers through design, development, code review and release

- Contribute to technical design, effort estimation and project planning

- Build and maintain cloud-based, highly available applications on Java and Spring

- Maintain the existing product line with high quality and on-time releases

- Hire, mentor and train engineers in your team

- Work with product management and US teams on requirements and priorities

What you need:

- 6 - 9 years of hands-on development experience, with at least 2 years leading a team

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring (Boot, MVC, Data, Security) and Hibernate

- Front-end experience with Angular or React, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS

- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL or Oracle

- Strong object-oriented design and experience with distributed, cloud-based applications

- Experience with JUnit, SonarQube and CI/CD practices

- Excellent communication skills

Good to have:

- Healthcare, life sciences or pharma domain experience

- Web and mobile application security experience

Compensation:

- 15 - 25 LPA (fixed + variable), based on experience and capability.
